Didier Drogba is, to date, the most successful African in Premier League history, having won the title in 2004/05, 2005/06, 2009/10 and 2014/15. While he won the English top flight four times, Yaya Toure won it thrice with Manchester City in 2011/12, 2013/14 and 2017/18.
South African football fans will remember Quinton Fortune for his role in Manchester United's Premier League triumph in 2002/03. Leicester City are 50/1 (51.0) to build on their fifth-place finish last term by winning a second Premier League title, having put aside last season's implosion to string together an impressive set of results.
